About the Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking experienced, professional Guitar/Drum instructors to teach part‑time at Rogers School of Music
, our NW Minneapolis location. We look for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON. Teaching either guitar or drums is fine; however, teaching both is preferred.

Substitute teachers will be contacted when there is a deficit in a main teacher's schedule, but consistency is appreciated by both students and school staff, and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.

Responsibilities include teaching guitar or drums to students of all levels, maintaining consistent attendance, and occasionally substituting for other teachers.

• Strong music background evidenced by a degree in instrumental or vocal performance or equivalent performing experience.
• Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
• Robust appreciation for punctuality.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $27 per hour.
