St. Michael‑Albertville School District Community Education Center, Saint Michael, Minnesota

183 days

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:15 am – 3:15 pm (incl. 30‑min unpaid lunch)

Full‑Time Equivalent: 0.4875 (19.5 hrs per week)

Salary: $21.15 – $21.63 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Work with adult students with disabilities to meet secondary transition, academic, and physical needs as identified in the Individual Education Plan (IEP).
  • Implement IEP goals in individual or small‑group settings under the direction of the special education teacher or bus service personnel.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student and family information in compliance with FERPA.
  • Assist with health tasks delegated by a registered nurse, with training provided.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED); or two years of post‑secondary education or successful completion of the Para educator program.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and the educational team to provide services to students with disabilities.
  • Preferred prior experience working with students or adults with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations and FERPA.
