We are a district that serves over 6,000 students and employs 725 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for identifying students with communication needs; planning and implementing appropriate research based treatment to minimize adverse impact on student's success; and providing education and direction to school staff, family and related service providers regarding the student's communication needs. Start DateSeptember 3, 2026 - March 5, 2027 FTE: 1.0
Contract120 8-hour days, which includes an extra 4 hours of evening conference time on Oct. 19 and 22, 2026, and February 8 and 11, 2027.
Requirements & QualificationsMaster's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field from an ASHA accredited university is required. MN Educational Speech Language Pathologist license is required. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) is preferred. Prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist is preferred.
SalaryLong-Term Substitute Rate: $31,155.60/120-days.
