We are a district that serves over 6,000 students and employs 725 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district consists of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1‑4, two middle schools for grades 5‑8, and one high school for grades 9‑12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for identifying students with communication needs; planning and implementing research‑based treatment to minimize adverse impact on students’ success; and providing education and direction to school staff, families and related service providers regarding each student’s communication needs. Contract
120 8‑hour days, including an extra 4 hours of evening conference time on Oct. 19 and 22, 2026, and Feb. 8 and 11, 2027.
Requirements & Qualifications
Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field from an ASHA‑accredited university is required. MN Educational Speech‑Language Pathologist license is required. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) is preferred. Prior experience as a Speech‑Language Pathologist is preferred.
Salary
Long‑Term Substitute Rate: $31,155.60 for 120 days.
Benefits
Full‑time (1.0 FTE) certified staff benefits, see Certified Master Contract 2025‑2027, with district contribution. Benefit eligibility for the contract 09/03/2026‑03/30/2027. 10.32 hours of personal leave (16 hours × 120 days/186 days prorated for the term) + Earned Safe and Sick Time.
