We are a district that serves over 6,300 students and employs 850 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
The Chess Club Advisor would organize and runchess club meetings. and communicate with parents. The advisor helps to set up competitive matchups within the students who are in thechess cluband go over basic strategies.
Start date
:
October 1, 2026.
Schedule:1-2 Meeting a week. 8 sessions total. Meetings are after school and go from 3:05 pm - 4:10 pm.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience coaching or participation inteam-building, time management, and Instant Challenges.
Stipend: $250.00,according tothe
Clubs Group of Schedule C of the Certified Master Contract .
Benefits:No benefit eligibilty, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.
