What You'll Do
  • Design electrical schematics, layouts, and control panel systems aligned with customer and industry standards
  • Select and specify components (PLCs, HMIs, relays, transformers, etc.) for optimal system performance
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and project teams to bring designs to life
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as NEC, UL, IEC, and CE
  • Develop bills of materials (BOMs), wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Support quoting efforts for controls on capital projects
  • Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of systems
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain and optimize the online parts library

You’re someone who enjoys solving technical problems, collaborating with others, and seeing your designs move from concept to reality!

Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (or similar)
  • Two (2) years of electrical design experience
  • Experience with CAD and electrical design tools
  • Working knowledge of NEC, UL, and electrical standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with EPLAN and/or Visio
  • Background in industrial or commercial electrical system design
