FSQA Technician
• Pay Rate Range: $43,600.00-$47,800.00/salary

Location:
St Michael, MN

Schedule:
2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:30PM-12AM (Must be flexible on the end times, will try to make most days end at 12:00am but some days will go longer and Must be okay with this). Some OT required on Weekends but is rare.

Requirements and
Qualifications:
• High school Diploma is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree - Preferably in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science or a related discipline is preferred.

Required:
One plus years Q A experience.
• Preferred:
One plus years Meat experience and ability to recognize different meat products.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization.
• Must be detail oriented and have excellent follow-through skills.
• Must be familiar with USDA/FDA regulations and willing to become familiar with the quality and food safety standards.
• Willing to do Quality specific training classes (HACCP Certification, SSOPs, etc.).
• Must be able to work with basic mathematical operations, including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Must have experience computers, keyboarding, and word processing.
• Must be able to travel up to five percent of the time, based on business demands.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
• Standing all day is required.
• Lifting up to 50lbs and pulling a pallet Jack.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• In this role, you'll help ensure our products meet quality and food safety standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities include:
• Monitor production and warehouse operations to ensure food safety and quality requirements are being followed.
• Inspect raw materials, products in process, and finished goods to verify they meet company specifications.
• Perform quality checks and testing throughout the manufacturing process, including packaging, labeling, and product evaluations.
• Verify that production equipment and processes are operating correctly and within established guidelines.
• Monitor critical food safety checkpoints and report any concerns or issues.
• Work closely with production and warehouse teams to identify and resolve quality or food safety concerns.
• Place products or equipment on hold when quality standards are not met.
• Assist with product testing, evaluations, and analysis as needed. Documentation & Recordkeeping:
• Accurately complete quality and food safety records.
• Document inspection and testing results and communicate findings to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain organized and accurate records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
