Job Description

Make the shift and fuel your career as a CDL Class A Truck Driver for Penske. When you join Penske, you join a team of professional truck drivers committed to delivering products safely and on time. You’ll be driving late‑model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best‑in‑class specs, inward and outward facing in‑cab cameras, and you'll represent Penske and your clients.

Responsibilities include delivering product to customers within a 2500‑mile radius, building customer relationships, and maintaining safe, punctual deliveries.

Schedule: Tuesday through Friday; weekends off; daily home after delivery.

• Valid Class A CDL required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Must currently hold, or be able to obtain, a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years.
• 3 years of DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• English language proficiency required to comply with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
• Work the required schedule, work at the specific location, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening.
• Position regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive; must work in a constant state of alertness and ensure safety for self and others.

• Must see and hear; vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Muster move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands to touch, handle, and feel, reach with hands and arms.
• Must lift and/or move up to 50 lb/23 kg regularly and occasionally up to 100 lb/45 kg.
• Must legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
