Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure tires, fluids, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in proper working order;
Safely operate a heavy truck along an assigned route to service customers and dispose of material at designated facilities;
Load refuse and operate compactor per safety policies and procedures;
Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and others to ensure timely service;
Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers per departmental procedures
