Overview
Join Concierge Property Management, Ltd. as an Ecologist. We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable professional to join our in‑house ecology team. The role covers a range of environmental projects across the East of England, from first‑stage ecological assessments to protected species surveys and technical work on habitat banking and landscape recovery projects.
Responsibilities- Manage multiple ongoing projects, including survey design, client interaction, and liaison with in‑house and external consultants.
- Provide training and support to Assistant and Graduate Ecologists.
- Oversee project management tasks, ensuring timely delivery and high‑quality outputs.
- Enthusiasm for ecology.
- Self‑driven and motivated.
- Relevant degree or higher.
- Minimum three years’ experience in ecological consultancy.
- Experience with preliminary ecological appraisals, biodiversity net gain assessments, and protected species surveys (e.g., badger, reptile).
- Willingness to take on project management responsibilities.
- Excellent report‑writing skills suitable for technical scientific outputs.
- Knowledge of UK and European wildlife and environmental legislation and policy.
- Professional level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Ability to travel for work.
Skills and Qualifications
- Specialised ecology survey skills (e.g., ornithology).
- FISC level 4 or above.
- MoRPh accredited.
- Experience as Ecological Clerk of Works.
- GIS or QGIS experience.
- Bat licence (level two or above).
- CSCS card.

Working ConditionsCore working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm. This is a permanent full‑time position on 37.5 hours per week. We are open to discussing flexible part‑time arrangements and operate a hybrid working policy.
