The Investigative Support Specialist will be responsible for providing; analytical, operational and investigative project support to the Office of Special Investigations (OSI). They will manage and track Calls for Service (CFS), maintain investigative and operational databases, monitor workflow processes, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for decision-making. They will serve as a central resource for information management, project coordination, reporting, and operational analysis.

• Coordinating and managing CFS requests, including intake, tracking, assignment, status monitoring, prioritization, and closure activities in collaboration with leadership to ensure alignment with statutory, policy, and operational priorities.
• Monitoring and managing operational workflow processes to ensure assignments, CFS, projects, and related activities are tracked, prioritized, and completed efficiently and in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Conducting administrative reviews, audits, and quality assurance activities to support compliance, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
• Maintaining and managing investigative and operational information systems, databases, and workflow tracking tools.
• Managing OSI related projects through developing and maintaining project trackers via MS Project, dashboards, and status reports.
• Provides budget, policy, and administrative support to OSI leadership.

• High School Diploma or GED AND
• Two (2) years work experience in a professional Technical or Support role that must include the following:
• Demonstrated experience conducting investigative, intelligence and security activities that includes: applying related procedures, methodologies, and practices beyond limited or incidental responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of the criminal justice system and demonstrated experience using investigative, case management and records management systems to manage and retrieve information in support of investigative or intelligence activities, such as MNJIS, TLO, S3, MCRO, BCA, CHS, PMI, MNICS etc.
• Experience with coordinating operational or project tasks, including tracking timelines, communicating updates and deliverables, and creating written and verbal documentation.
• Demonstrated advanced usage of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

• Further educational training in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice or Project Management. (Degree, Diploma or Certificate).
• Experience working within a secure environment (e.g., government, corrections, human services, law enforcement, compliance, or intelligence).
• Experience managing investigative and operational information systems.
