Responsibilities include:

• Provide reading and math support to Kindergarten and First Grade students in classroom setting.
• Work under direction of licensed teacher in small groups or one‑on‑one setting.
• Assist with playground and recess duties.
• Provide before or after school traffic support responsibilities.

Assignment: 169 total days – 5.5 hours classroom/assessment + 1.25 extra duties (recess + drop‑off or pick‑up)

• 145 classroom days
• 9 extra duties:
  • 5 early release days (1.75 hours)
  • 2 beginning‑of‑the‑year (1.75 hours)
  • 1 end‑of‑the‑year (1.75 hours)
• Paid holidays:
  Good Friday, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas

Pay range: minimum $20.65–$22.95 per hour based on experience and education.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  Two years post‑secondary education preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Must pass the Paraprofessional Education Assessments.
