OverviewThe Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager leads the College's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision‑making. This role partners closely with senior leadership to enhance financial transparency, improve operational efficiency, and ensure alignment between financial resources and institutional priorities. The FP&A Manager plays a key role in strengthening financial accountability and advancing the College's long‑term financial sustainability.

Salary Range: $70,000‑$95,000 annually
Main Responsibilities- create and manage the College-wide budget, collaborating closely with the Controller, President's leadership team, Budget managers, and the VP of Finance; provide analysis and reporting on budget attainment.
- develop and deliver clear, actionable budget reports for senior leadership and department leaders.
- lead the Internal Budget Committee ensuring that campus representation is captured.
- manage technical aspects of the budget within the College’s ERP system; provide education and training on methodology, process and system.
- enhance and manage the College's forecasting model; provide detailed forecasting reports with variance analysis.
- lead scenario planning and modeling to support key initiatives and long‑term planning; serve as strategic partner to the VP of Finance and senior leadership.
- develop models, metrics, reports, charts and automated solutions; maintain the College’s financial dashboard.
- identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency and data integrity.
- translate financial data into actionable insights to support decision‑making across the College.
- participate on college committees providing business acumen.
- assist with debt management supporting the VP of Finance during the capital financing process.
- provide exemplary service to stakeholders, including internal and external constituents.
- all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 5+ years of financial management experience, including knowledge of budget development and management.
- Comfort dealing with ambiguity and ability to analyze highly complex information.
- Skilled at developing financial reporting and modeling.
- Ability to develop and nurture strong collaborative relationships and partnerships.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills.
- Skilled at organizing projects and seeing them through to completion.
- Excellent computer skills—ERP systems, planning software, data mining.
- Able to act independently within the position’s parameters.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and decisions expeditiously.
- Proficient with Google Apps and Microsoft Office; ability to learn upgrades and new programs.
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- CPA license.
- Experience working for a non‑profit or university environment.
