Salary Range: $21.73 - $27.72 hourly; $45,372 - $57,879 annually

Hours:

Day Shift, Monday – Friday
Type: Full‑time, Classified, Non‑exempt

Responsibilities
  • Prepare medications and supplies for the Forensic Mental Health Program, Forensic Nursing Home, and Community Behavioral Health Hospitals under pharmacist supervision.
  • Unit dose medications.
  • Stock and maintain Automated Dispensing Machines (ADM) per pharmacy procedures.
  • Review medication reconciliation reports and enter medication data into the electronic health record with high accuracy.
  • Provide support for nursing via phone, email, and Teams; review reports for expired medications.
  • File monthly dispensing reports.
  • Complete monthly medication room checks.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Registered with the Board of Pharmacy.
  • Completion of a Pharmacy Technician certification program or at least one year of pharmacy technician experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current national certification as a pharmacy technician.
  • Ability to operate a unit dosing machine.
  • Experience with Omnicell and/or a carousel system.
  • Experience using multiple software programs, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated cultural responsiveness and experience working with diverse populations.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours, move, bend, twist, and lift up to 25 pounds.
