The Unit Supervisor is responsible for ensuring high-quality care and supervision of clients and staff in a residential setting. This role supports the Residential Treatment Supervisor in day-to-day operations, staff development, and compliance with treatment and documentation standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, therapeutic insight, and the ability to manage challenging situations effectively.

Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours: The typical schedule is weekday business hours, with the understanding that evening and weekend availability may be necessary to support 24/7 care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision and guidance to unit staff, including training and performance evaluations.
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with clinical staff.
- Maintain a therapeutic, safe, and structured environment for youth.
- Coordinate program activities including discharges, intakes, and client transports.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation and reports.
- Administer medications and maintain client medical records per guidelines.
- Actively participate in treatment reviews, staff meetings, and supervisor processes.
- Support staff in crisis intervention and de-escalation of volatile situations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social services, human services, or related field preferred.
- Minimum two years' experience in a residential treatment setting preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise a team.
- Strong communication, organizational, and crisis management skills.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency insurance requirements preferred.
- Must pass a DHS background study and meet agency training requirements.
