Solder Assembler
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Solder Assembler workers for an electronics / complex assembly company in Mankato, MN. In this role, you’ll support the production of high-quality electronic assemblies by performing detailed hand soldering and inspection work under a microscope. Perform hand soldering and assembly of electronic components under a microscope
Hold boards and panels under a microscope to inspect parts and solder joints
Use pliers, cutters, and other small hand tools during board assembly
Complete required production and quality documentation
Enter basic production data into a computer system
Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager
High school diploma or equivalent
General knowledge of electronic components
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions
Basic computer skills for data entry
Willingness to cross-train into other positions as needed
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand English
Prior soldering experience preferred but not required
IPC‑A‑610 training preferred but not required
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
