Position: Project Manager (Minnesota Kids Rise)

The Minnesota School Boards Association (MSBA) is a private, nonprofit organization founded in 1920. We are located in St. Peter, Minnesota. MSBA prides itself as being a “Go-To” education association by providing workshops, resources, services, and connections designed to help school boards save time, reduce expenses, govern efficiently, and stay inspired.

Position

MSBA is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join the Communications and Member Engagement team to support the Minnesota Kids Rise initiative.

About Minnesota Kids Rise

Minnesota Kids Rise is a statewide initiative that builds trust and pride in public schools by sharing real stories, local context, and clear information about how students and communities grow and succeed.

We recognize that people hear mixed messages about public schools, so we provide a balanced, nonpartisan view that highlights what is working, where improvement is happening, and what it means for students.

Led by a coalition of education organizations with the support of private businesses, non-profits, and Minnesotans, this effort brings together trusted voices and accessible data so Minnesotans can evaluate their schools with confidence.

At its core, this work is grounded in a simple belief: when students are supported and schools are strong, communities thrive. Source:(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)./

The MKR is a coalition of education organizations. A review of the initiative’s progress and impact will be conducted in June 2027, and a decision will be made about continuing the initiative. While MKR could become an ongoing initiative, if the initiative ends, the position will be discontinued.

This position has a hybrid working model. It also requires occasional evening and weekend hours.
