Salary Range: $27.53 - $35.21 per hour

• Administer medications, treatments, and other therapies following the practitioner’s orders and treatment plan for the client.
• Assist clients in developing independence in daily living or provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living as needed.
• Complete assigned unit tasks.
• Monitor, report, and appropriately document interactions with clients.
• Collect and report data about physical and mental health needs of the client, document interactions, plans, and client responses to interventions offered.
• Assist the RN in planning and implementation of the nursing plan of care and/or multi‑disciplinary plans of care.
• Respond immediately and appropriately to emergency situations to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Maintain professional boundaries in a manner that creates a positive and caring environment and an accepting attitude toward diversity in people.

• Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
• Current licensure in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse.
• Future Practical Nurses who are within six (6) months of graduating and taking their NCLEX‑LPN are encouraged to apply. Contingent job offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of NCLEX‑LPN.

• Experience working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Previous experience with individuals with diverse backgrounds in a correctional/forensic setting; experience working with medical records.
