Landscape Technician

Pay: $18 – $25/hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Landscape Technician to join our team. This position combines lawn care, pest control, landscaping, and customer service responsibilities to help residential and commercial customers maintain healthy, attractive properties.

The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in delivering quality results, and can work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.

• Apply fertilizers, weed control products, and pest control treatments according to company standards and state regulations
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain equipment such as spreaders, sprayers, and company vehicles
• Inspect lawns and landscapes to identify turf, weed, and pest issues
• Recommend treatment plans and solutions based on property conditions
• Communicate with customers regarding services performed and future treatment recommendations
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and product handling guidelines
• Perform general labor and landscaping duties as needed
• Assist with landscape installation and site preparation projects when required
• Represent the company professionally with customers and team members

• Experience in landscaping, lawn care, construction, or general labor preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to obtain a Pesticide Applicator License (training provided)
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

• Previous experience with lawn care, pest control, or landscaping equipment
• Construction or landscape construction experience
• Experience maintaining service records and documentation
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to diagnose lawn and pest issues

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Peter, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
