Job DescriptionResponsible for selecting the best products for our online shoppers and accurately fulfilling online grocery orders.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service, exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all interactions.
- Smile and greet customers warmly, and address them by name whenever possible.
- Assist customers, including escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading or unloading heavy items, noting suggestions, and enhancing the overall shopping experience.
- Answer telephone calls and emails promptly, delivering friendly and helpful service.
- Accurately select groceries ordered online, choosing the highest quality produce, meat, and other fresh items.
- Scan, bag, and transport items from all temperature zones.
- Adhere to company policies and individual store guidelines.
- Report to work on schedule and on time.
- Tender customer orders through POS and charge the customer’s credit card.
- Place orders in proper temperature storage, and retrieve them promptly before customer arrival.
- Maintain proper temperature throughout the entire process.
- Transfer orders to the holding area for pick‑up.
- Lift, carry, and load groceries into the customer’s vehicle.
- Continuously monitor incoming online orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Perform additional job‑related duties and special projects as required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Visual requirement: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
- Medium physical work: lift/carry objects of up to 50 lbs, frequent standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 25 lbs.
- Perform stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
The duties are performed in a retail store setting with potential exposure to dust, noise, and temperature extremes. Hazards include moving equipment and possible electrical shock. The environment is fast‑paced with constant pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects.
Equipment UsedPallet jack, box cutter, cash registers, trash compactor, forklift, calculator, telephone, intercom, cardboard compactor, copier, fax (within wage and hour guidelines).
ContactDaily contact with store personnel, customers, and the general public.
The anticipated hourly starting wage for this position is $11.50 to $14.40 depending on experience.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screen.
