Plumber Assistant
Assist journeyman and master plumbers with plumbing installations and repairs, focusing on both residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities- Install water supply lines, drain waste vent (DWV) systems, fixtures, and plumbing equipment.
- Support plumbing service calls, troubleshooting, and diagnostics.
- Perform residential and commercial plumbing installations and maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment safely.
- Assist with pipe cutting, threading, soldering, brazing, and assembly.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
- Communicate professionally with customers, general contractors, and project managers.
- Complete required paperwork, work orders, and daily reports.
- Travel to project locations as needed, including occasional overnight travel.
- Proficiency in plumbing, technician, and construction tasks.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, mechanical, HVAC, pipe fitting, labor, or plumbing is preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working in residential homes, commercial facilities, and active construction sites.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel throughout the region and stay overnight when required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Peter, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
