Overview

CATY On SAINTSPETER — FULL-TIME BUS DRIVER

• Under the direction and general supervision of the Transit Operations Manager, the Bus Driver operates and maintains municipal transit service vehicles.
• Work hours:
  
  1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday–Friday with some flexibility; may include some weekends.
• Perform pre-checks of the bus, provide customer service, and maintain/clean buses.

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Valid Driver's License.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment, a MN CDL Class C Driver's License with passenger endorsement.
• Previous experience working with the public.
• Note:
  
  MN River Valley Transit will help all new drivers train for the license test.

• Previous experience driving a passenger bus.
• Basic knowledge of two-way radio operations.
• Formal training in vehicle mechanics.
• Experience completing driver operation logs.

Salary Range: $20.72 - $21.67 per hour. (non-exempt)
