Position: Truck Driver CDL A Home Daily

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in St. Peter, MN — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Pay & Schedule
  • Weekly pay: $1116 - $1562 (depending on schedule)
  • Hourly pay: $31.00 for PM shift
  • Hours per week: 36–48 hours (depending on schedule)
  • Schedule:

    4 days one week and 3 days the following week
  • Start time: 6:00 pm–6:00 am
  • Endorsement:
    Tanker endorsement within 30–60 days of hire
  • Backing experience required
  • $3,000 loyalty bonus: $1,500 paid at 6 months and $1,500 paid at 1 year

Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
    • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
    • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
    • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures
Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state laws, regulations and agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
  • Maintain accurate records and logs
  • Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading freight if required by customer
  • Perform other duties as assigned
