• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
• Develop and coordinate a patient/family-focused plan of care.
• Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
• Adhere to established protocols and document patient care accurately.

Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.

Experience: Oncology experience preferred; previous infusion experience strongly preferred.

Licenses &

Certifications:

Current and valid New Jersey Nursing license required; BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association required; ACLS preferred; willing to obtain OCN within two years from hire.
