About This Role

The Registered Nurse in the ICU/CCU at Hackensack Meridian Health provides direct patient care for a specific population, focusing on achieving desired outcomes through effective collaboration and coordination with the healthcare team.

• Location: Manahawkin, NJ
• Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health
• Schedule: Part-time, Day shift

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients.
• Develop and coordinate patient-centered plans of care.
• Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications utilizing advanced bar-scanning technologies.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
• Identify ethical issues and enhance patient satisfaction.
• Maintain competencies, certifications, and continuing education.

• BSN preferred

• 6+ months of nursing experience required
• 1 year experience in an ICU, step down unit, or Emergency room preferred

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Active AHA BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of entering position
