Administrative Supervisor - Per Diem

About This Role

The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all hospital and departmental operations in the absence of administration and department leaders. This role is ideal for individuals with strong leadership skills and a commitment to quality patient care.

• Location: Manahawkin, NJ
• Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift

• Respond promptly to all emergencies with expert nursing skill and leadership support.
• Manage multiple priorities, meeting deadlines in quality and regulatory project management.
• Act as a liaison to improve processes for bed utilization.
• Provide timely notification of critical events to appropriate individuals.
• Foster and maintain effective working relationships among team members.
• Set and maintain high standards for quality and service.
• Support activities that promote patient satisfaction within a patient-centered care framework.
• Collaborate and provide guidance to nursing and ancillary team members to ensure quality standards are met.
• Complete other duties and/or projects as assigned.
• Adhere to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Applied Science (AAS) required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience required
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience in critical care or emergency department setting preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred

Licenses &

Certifications:

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required
• Telemetry Certification preferred
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification preferred
• IV Certification preferred
