About This Role
The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population, focusing on expanding knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team. - Schedule: Per Diem
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health.
- Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
- Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients.
- Develop and coordinate patient-centered plans of care.
- Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively.
- Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning technologies.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes.
- Identify ethical issues and enhance patient satisfaction.
- Maintain competencies and continuing education for licensing requirements.
Education:
- Current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license required
Experience:
- 1 or more years of nursing experience strongly preferred
- Wound care experience preferred
Licenses &
Certifications:
- BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required
- Wound care certification preferred
