Job Summary
A Quote Engineer is responsible for developing quotes with material and labor costs, reading blueprints, and understanding assembly processes. The role requires critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Develop internal bills of material from customer‑provided documentation.
- Secure material pricing from suppliers.
- Select the best supplier option for quotes.
- Develop labor processes for new assembly part numbers.
- Research and develop revised labor standards for tooled part numbers.
- Develop non‑recurring engineering charges for new part numbers.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of related experience with PCB manufacturing.
- Experience: 2 years’ experience in quoting and/or purchasing.
- Knowledge: Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); read blueprints; understand inside sales systems and procedures.
- Skills: Decision‑making regarding pricing strategies and labor processes; interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form; demonstrate technical aptitude.
- Abilities: Process quotes quickly and accurately; react promptly to solve practical problems; manage internal and external customers to maintain high satisfaction.

- Compensation varies by office location, role, skill set and experience; ranges disclosed to candidates as required by local law.
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and procedures and all applicable laws, including ITAR, EAR and OFAC. Responsibilities include identifying ITAR products, managing foreign visitor access, authorizing shipments and vendor approvals.
