A Quote Engineer is a professional position and will possess good written, verbal skills. Required to develop quotes with material and labor costs. A Quote Engineer is a critical thinker with problem solving skills. Ability to read blue prints. Possess technical aptitude to understand assembly processes and develop labor times.

• Develop internal bills of material from customer provided documentation
• Secure material pricing from suppliers
• Select best supplier option for quotes
• Develop labor processes for new assembly part numbers
• Research and develop revised labor standards for tooled part numbers
• Develop non-recurring engineering charges for New part numbers

• 1. How much education required? Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years related experience with PCB manufacturing
• 2. How much experience required? 2 years experience in quoting and/or purchasing
• Summarize the minimum kinds of knowledge, skills and abilities required to do the job. Knowledge:
  Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook) Able to read blue prints. Knowledge of Inside Sales Systems and procedures. Skill in:
  Decision making with respect to pricing strategies and labor processes. Interpretation of a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram (print reading) or schedule form. Demonstrate technical aptitude. Ability to:
  Process quotes quickly and accurately. Quickly react in order to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to manage internal and external customers in order to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Problem solving where development of new solutions, methods, or systems will result in a major impact on the company’s success. Implement own recommendations and see projects through to completion. Recommend and implement improvements to processes increasing efficiency. Ability to communicate effectively by telephone and in group meetings and discussions. Ability to give and receive information accurately. Ability to follow directions and procedures accurately;

to organize facts and figures; apply basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and averages. Attend or conduct meetings to negotiate, explain, persuade, or present information. Ability to multitask at a high level.

Daily operation of a personal computer while sitting. May extend over 60 minutes at a time. Extended use of telephone with headsets available.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
