Logistics Coordination, Procurement / Purchasing
Scope
Manage all aspects of the materials used for an assigned commodity, including but not limited to placing orders, managing lead times, clearing exception messages, managing past dues and clearing invoice issues using the appropriate MRP/ERP system.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manage inventories to ensure continuous production while maximizing turns.
- Develop thorough working knowledge of assigned commodities and associated supplier base.
- Develop a thorough working knowledge of required MRP/ERP systems.
- Bring ideas to management and be able to implement necessary process improvements.
- Be able to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines.
- Develop mutually beneficial, respectful, and effective relationships with peers to ensure seamless coordination between departments, maximize synergy, and maintain a shared vision, strategy, and focus.

B.S. Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
Required:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Procurement.
Preferred:
Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, purchasing and bills of materials;
Oracle experience preferred.

This includes: a) identifying ITAR products on the manufacturing floor and ensuring access is limited to U.S. Citizens and U.S. Permanent Residents; b) recognizing foreign person visitors by badge differentiation; c) following authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) adhering to export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the U.S.;
e) managing vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
