Job Overview
A Chemical Services Technician will work three days a week (Friday to Sunday, 6:00AM–6:30PM) performing maintenance and chemical handling duties at TTM Technologies, Inc.
Responsibilities- Work effectively and responsibly with team members.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on process line tanks related to chemistry.
- Coordinate with QA Lab, Process Engineering, and Department Managers to ensure the highest level of quality.
- Operate in accordance with all local, State, and Federal regulations.
- Perform routine scheduled PMs including removal, disposal, and replacement of chemical baths on plating lines and filter changes.
- Coordinate with wastewater treatment operators for the disposition of spent bath waste waters onsite.
- Drive a forklift safely after training.
- Complete job‑related paperwork accurately and timely.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors, suggest procedural changes, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Report accidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions.
- Handle all virgin chemicals and dispose of waste, including hazardous waste, per EHS directives.
- Use required PPE, participate in safety training, and understand JSA, PPE assessments, SDS, and safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent with some technical training; plating or chemical handling experience desirable.
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR compliance).
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
- Team player, dependable, flexible, professional, self‑motivated, manual dexterity, punctual, trustworthy, and detail‑oriented.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and sit or stand up to 10hours a day.
- Willingness to work overtime if necessary.
