Position: Assembly Operator - Lamination 3rd Shift - 90 Day Increase Eligible

Job Overview

The Lamination Production Associate is involved with all operations of lamination within the RF Center, ensuring quality, safety, and production targets are met.

Responsibilities
  • Monitors and produces quality product, bonds assemblies, installs hardware, operates presses and autoclave.
  • Processes all internal paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Cleans and stores plates and dividers.
  • Generates, accumulates, and handles hazardous wastes generated in daily operations as directed by the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager.
  • Cross‐training in multiple areas.
  • Reports all accidents, near misses and safety concerns in a timely manner.
  • Uses required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participates in safety training.
  • Follows all job safety analysis, PPE assessments, MSDS, and safety procedures.
  • Follows quality manual and all process procedures.
  • Completes job travelers correctly, participates in shift crossovers, and cross‑trains in other areas.
  • Uses correct tool numbers, notifies tech or supervisor of equipment downtime, performs first article process, and uses shop floor control system.
  • Adheres to maintenance schedules, performs housekeeping duties.
Qualifications
  • General math, reading, and computer skills.
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and procedures.
  • Proficiency with calipers and micrometers.
  • Good hand/eye coordination, manual dexterity, vision, hearing perception, and clear speech.
  • Detail‑oriented, approachable, good interpersonal skills, trustworthy, willing to learn, punctual, self‑disciplined, dependable, flexible, team player, professional, reliable, self‑motivated, takes pride in work.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds; able to sit or stand for several hours at a time.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience.
