Scope:

This position is responsible for control of inventory required for setup of jobs assigned to Surface Mount department. Assignment of parts and inventory for Work Orders on the production floor. Candidate is responsible for accurate counts on inventory used to fulfill Work Orders. Must be able to handle a fast paced environment with a high volume workload while maintaining organization and cleanliness of area.

This position is responsible for inventory counts annually as well as when required by the company or customer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Material handling, inventory control, data entry.

Offline set up of surface mount components into component magazines and feeders following Work Order priorities set by Stockroom Manager and SMT Supervisor.

Utilize various Software to maintain proper inventory counts.

Experience with MyCronic, FUJI, and Oracle preffered.

Receive inventory from stockroom, document and distribute to correct locations. I.E. MSD Chamber, Storage Racks and Storage Towers.

Ensures processes and equipment used remains acceptable within company manufacturing standards. Notifying appropriate managers of any issues as they arise in a timely fashion.

Adhere to the highest industry standards regarding maintaining inventory used in production. (IPC-A-610 Class III, J-STD-001 Class III).Visually check Work Order kits in process for correct component usage following customer approved guidelines. Ensure accurate amounts needed. Make adjustments as required.

Communicate with Managers, Supervisors, Planners and Purchasing department to maintain inventory needed for production assemblies.

Distribute inventory to Work Orders and fill Ticket Requests from Production floor pertaining to inventory in Offline Setup department.

Follow First in First out procedure in place throughout the stockroom and production inventory.

Accurately document part usage on each individual Work Order to maintain customer required traceability. I.E. Internal Lot numbers, EMFG logs ETC.Complete inventory cycle counts as assigned

Maintain all shelf life materials including MSD components.
