Cost Accounting Supervisor

Supervise financial reporting and planning functions for assigned manufacturing plants, ensuring accurate and timely month-end closing activities.

Oversee cost accounting duties including standard cost maintenance, manufacturing variance analysis, and margin reviews to support operational decision-making.

Lead and develop accounting staff while enforcing process controls and compliance with technical accounting standards.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of cost accounting experience.

Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity within a manufacturing environment.

Strong technical proficiency in inventory costing, P&L management, and large-scale ERP systems (such as SAP).

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial variances to plant operations and executive leadership.

Must be comfortable with a hybrid schedule and flexible regarding local office locations.
