DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and guide Scheduling Execution and Efficiency Team.
  • Implement safety policies consistent with the company’s general policies and any production specific policies.
  • Resolve personnel issues as needed.
  • For Stafford Operations Scope:
    • Oversee and manage the timely establishment of Promise Dates for all orders
    • Oversee and manage the process to maintain Schedule Dates for all orders
    • Oversee the development, preparation, and maintenance of production schedules to guide the production activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into schedules.
    • Monitor production progress and develops revised scheduling responsive to changes in the flow of materials, designs, equipment, or other resources.
    • Drive expedite activities for short lead-time orders and material short work orders
    • Report on service levels (PDSL/RDSL/SDSL), process improvements and growth opportunities
  • Work closely with the Sales department to understand customers’ requirements, resolve customer issues and plan for future workload.
  • Meet with Sales and Operations personnel on various projects and initiatives.
  • Takes an active role in continuously improving planning methods, processes and tools.
  • Schedule staff to ensure appropriate supervision of all duties and commitments within the Stafford Scheduling Execution and Efficiency Team.
  • Provide employee training and development.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong technical knowledge preferred

Experience/Skills

  • Minimum five years supervisory experience in related or similar industry
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Degree or experience in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing/Production, Finance, or Project Management
  • Above average Excel skills (including pivot tables, vlookups, graph creation, managing large sets of data)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and other production software
