Position:
Pastor, Mandarin Ministry
Southwest Chinese Baptist Church (SWCBC) seeks an innovative and energetic pastor to nurture and grow the Mandarin‑speaking congregation.
The pastor, possessing the spiritual maturity described in 1 Timothy 3, will primarily work with the 30–45 year old age group, consisting mainly of couples and families with children.
Requirements- Commitment to the evangelical faith and practice of SWCBC.
- Must be a servant leader with proven team‑building skills and motivation.
- Must have at least five years of active pastoral or church leadership ministry experience, preferably in the context of North America.
- Must have a track record of leading discipleship for individuals and groups.
- A passion for church evangelism, focusing on outreach to Mandarin‑speaking young adults, couples and families.
- The preferred applicant should be married and demonstrate an exemplary family life.
- Experience in Family Ministries is a plus.
- Holder of a Master of Divinity degree or equivalent.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English.
This position reports to the Senior Pastor. Annual compensation is dependent on experience and qualifications.
