This role provides technical support to a team of 7 Field Service Engineers. You will analyze schematic drawings to identify problem areas within a range of industrial UPS systems, oversee the service region, and conduct annual reviews, applying safety and disciplinary procedures to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to a team of 7 Field Service Engineers; analyze schematic drawings to identify problem areas in industrial UPS systems; oversee Field Service Department operations, including annual reviews and compliance with safety and disciplinary procedures.
RequirementsBachelor’s or equivalent in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and 5 years (or master’s +3) of experience as a Field Service Engineer, including preventative maintenance, commissioning, and repair of uninterruptible power supplies and related equipment in the petrochemical and power generation industry. 2 years’ experience in power electronics or a closely related field using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and similar industrial networking equipment, and leading teams directly or indirectly.
Ability to travel 20% to client sites in the Gulf Coast Region (OK, TX, AL, LA, MS). Provide on-call phone support on rotating weekends. Telework available 2 days/week. .
