The Broadcast Audio Engineer ensures our online congregation experiences crystal-clear audio during live streams. You'll manage the separate audio mix sent to You Tube and Facebook Live, using the Focusrite Scarlett interface to deliver professional streaming audio.
Responsibilities- Monitor streaming audio levels throughout service
- Create balanced mix optimized for headphone/speaker listening
- Coordinate with FOH engineer on audio routing
- Ensure minimum 128kbps audio bitrate quality
- Troubleshoot streaming audio issues
- Document and report technical problems
- Understanding of streaming audio requirements
- Familiarity with audio interfaces
- Attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to multitask during live production
- Streaming audio best practices
- Quality monitoring techniques
