Salary: $140,000 - $155,000 per year

We’ve been exclusively engaged by a growing organization seeking an Assistant Controller to support their expanding accounting and finance operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial functions. The Assistant Controller will report directly to the Controller and serve as a key leader during month-end close, financial reporting, audits, internal controls, and ongoing process improvements.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Lead general ledger close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
• Support the development, documentation, and execution of strong internal controls
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Coordinate audits and manage communication with external auditors
• Identify and drive process improvements across the accounting function
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Oversee compliance requirements, tax filings, and financial reporting deadlines
• Support ERP and accounting systems implementation, enhancements, and optimization

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required
• CPA/CMA preferred
• 2-4 years public company assistant controller (or 4-6 years as assistant controller) with min of $250M in revenue, years strong GL, balance sheet, and income statement as well as POC/ASC 842 experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Strong GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls background
• Proficiency in Dynamics 365 is a must-have. Strong Excel needed.
• Will have SOX experience and have worked in a public company.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
