Data Scientist

As a data scientist at Booz Allen, you’ll help turn complex data sets into actionable insights that solve global challenges. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their questions and use data‑driven analytics, algorithms, and machine learning models to provide objective answers that inform decision‑making.

• Collaboration with clients to define analytical questions and data‑ready solutions.
• Cleaning, exploring, and analyzing structured and unstructured data.
• Developing predictive models, quantitative analysis, and visualizations.
• Deploying data science solutions using the appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

• 2+ years of experience with data exploration, cleaning, analysis, or visualization.
• 2+ years of experience with statistical or general‑purpose programming languages for data analysis.
• Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources.
• Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Natural Language Processing.
• Knowledge of text mining or machine learning techniques.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.

• 2+ years of experience developing algorithms with R, Python, or SQL/No
  
  SQL.
• Experience with distributed computing tools such as Map Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL.
• Experience with Machine Learning, AI, or NLP.
• Experience with visualization packages Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot

• Experience using Palantir platforms.
• Experience with Advana or War Data Platform.
• Master’s degree.
