Technical Writer

Write and edit technical documentation, user manuals, and sales and training literature. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. May review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Qualifications
  • Experience with technical writing for a Digital Transformation or Digital Modernization project
  • Knowledge of multiple writing style guides and requirements using Microsoft (MS) Office product suite, including designing and developing in Power Point
  • Ability to perform reviews and assure the quality of all written deliverables in support of a wide range of customer requirements
  • Ability to apply expertise in client delivery process, tradecraft, and intelligence standards
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical audiences
  • Ability to work closely with Program Managers and the Deputy Program Manager to collect writing requirements and make recommendations on technical document reviews
  • Ability to work closely with SharePoint administrator or knowledge manager to maintain documentation and deliverables
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
Nice to Have
  • Experience with the Naval Correspondence Manual
  • Knowledge of the Defense Acquisition Process
  • Knowledge of AI principles
Compensation

Salary range $55,200.00 to $ (annualized USD). The posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
