Job SummaryThe Arbor Project Lead is a pivotal role that bridges the gap between vision and execution. More than just a project manager, you are the steward of our quality and the mentor to our field teams. You will ensure that every project—from high-value commercial contracts to municipal initiatives—is executed with surgical precision, uncompromising safety, and keen attention to detail. You are the engine that transforms an estimate into a masterpiece of arboricultural work.
ProjectLeadership & Operational Excellence
- Execute the Vision:
Oversee all work orders from inception to completion, ensuring total customer satisfaction and project profitability. - Standards of Excellence:
Manage projects to ensure all scopes are completed per industry standards (ANSI and OSHA), acting as the final word on quality and safety. - Technical Guidance:
Line‑out foremen at the shop or on‑site, serving as the primary point of contact and technical advisor while work is being performed. - Strategic Estimation:
Partner closely with the Sales team to produce timely, accurate, and expert‑led estimates that account for equipment needs, site restrictions, and risk assessment.

Maintain weekly communication with the Head of Arbor to ensure all field activities remain perfectly aligned with company goals and Christian principles.

Demonstrate exceptional time management, managing multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision and high attention to detail. - Lifelong Learning:
Engage in continual coaching and professional development as directed by leadership to stay at the forefront of arboricultural science. - Stewardship:
Comply with all company procedures, safety policies, and the maintenance of a driver's license in good standing.
- Professional Representation:
Represent The Urban Foresters in a positive, professional, and principled manner during all site visits and client meetings. - Responsive Partnership:
Respond to sales leads within 24 hours, ensuring that our clients feel heard, valued, and respected. - Feedback Loop:
Actively communicate client feedback and project updates to the Head of Arbor to ensure a seamless experience from start to finish.
- Project Mastery:
Efficiently manage jobs to ensure target profitability, safety compliance, and "Urban Forester" grade quality. - Responsive Estimating:
Provide timely and accurate bids in collaboration with the sales team to maintain a healthy project pipeline. - Cultural Integration:
Engage clients and teammates with demonstrable Charity, Fortitude, and Humility. - Personal Growth:
Active participation in professional development plans and consistent engagement in company coaching.
- Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) OR a minimum of 2+ years of hands‑on arboricultural experience. - Technical Expertise:
Certified Arborist (preferred) with a deep comfort level working in diverse outdoor settings. - Linguistic Ability:
Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required to…
