Position:
Manual Machinist – Stafford, TX Facility. Join our dynamic and fast‑paced Aftermarket business. The primary responsibility is to perform complete repairs on customer equipment in the Service Center and work with the team to achieve EHS, quality, on‑time delivery, cost and productivity goals.

• Self‑motivated and open‑minded to learn machining and safety procedures.
• Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, and horizontal boring mills on a variety of work pieces.
• Lay out work and produce quality parts.
• Decipher sketches, blueprints, and engineering details.
• Assist in establishing set‑up, layout methods, order of operations, and application of required parts and materials.
• Carry a job through from raw materials to finished products from drawings, sketches, samples or verbal instruction.
• Sharpen, rework, reset and repair cutting tools.
• Inspect and check parts being produced.
• Maintain accurate production records and job history.
• Perform minor machine maintenance and assist in setting up complex machines.
• Keep a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform any other duties as directed by management.
• Operate manual and automated cleaning equipment.

• Follow all safety and environmental directives and wear proper PPE.
• Use hands to handle objects, tools or controls.
• Reach overhead.
• Work in various positions (stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting) for extended periods.
• Lifting, pulling and pushing materials and equipment to complete tasks.
• Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs frequently during the workday.
• Maintain a clean work area and accurate records.
• Work with minimum supervision, resolving complex issues.

• 2–3 years of machining experience; 3+ years preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Extensive knowledge of machine use and manufacturing materials.
• Advanced knowledge of shop mathematics.
• Reciprocating compressor experience is a plus.
