Role Description

The Quality Assurance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Stafford, TX. This position is responsible for monitoring and evaluating quality processes, performing inspections, and verifying that procedures meet internal standards and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing documentation, conducting internal audits, identifying non-conformances, and recommending corrective and preventive actions. The role works closely with operations and management to maintain compliance, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to aviation and manufacturing quality guidelines.

The Quality Assurance Specialist also assists in updating quality policies, training staff on quality procedures, and preparing reports for leadership.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Control to ensure consistent adherence to established standards.
  • Experience with Quality Management practices, including maintaining and improving quality systems and documentation.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements and their application in operational environments.
  • Ability to perform Quality Auditing activities, including planning, conducting, and documenting internal audits.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend effective corrective actions.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in aviation, manufacturing, or a highly regulated industry is preferred.
  • Relevant certification or training in quality assurance, auditing, or related fields is beneficial.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or quality-related discipline is an advantage.
