The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representatives are responsible for creating / maintaining customer relationships, general sales information, product pricing, delivery coordination and more. Most often they are the customer’s first point-of-contact. Team members aggressively promote and sell all Tamlyn product lines.

• Selling building materials to our customers over the phone and via email.
• Maintaining and growing existing customer base through prospecting sales account development, quoting and customer follow up.
• Sourcing special order items and custom flashing for our customers.
• Ensuring all customer sales orders are entered complete and accurate.
• Advising customers on inventory levels and pricing.
• Answering the phone and directing calls.
• Scheduling and answering question regarding deliveries for customers.
• Keeping constant communication with Outside Sales / Regional Sales Managers.
• Coordinating with scheduler/dispatcher, billing orders, and assisting the Outside Sales team with quotes.

• Strong verbal, written and over-the-phone communication skills.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation skills.
• Thorough understanding of company’s products and/or services, and those of immediate competitors in the surrounding market.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Experience using Customer Relationship Management software (CRM)
