Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Team Lead – Architectural Lighting & Business Development to drive sales growth, expand strategic partnerships, and lead market development across Texas and the United States.
The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of the lighting industry, understands the architectural and residential construction market, and has established relationships with builders, architects, interior designers, cabinet manufacturers, distributors, and lighting professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead business development efforts throughout Texas and targeted U.S. markets.
- Build and manage relationships with:
- Builders and custom home builders
- Architects and architectural firms
- Interior designers
- Cabinet manufacturers
- Lighting showrooms
- Electrical distributors
- Smart home integrators
- Recruit, mentor, and manage sales representatives and channel partners.
- Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies.
- Conduct product presentations, training sessions, and demonstrations.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Collaborate with marketing on content, campaigns, and brand positioning.
- Maintain CRM pipeline and forecasting accuracy.
- Deliver revenue and growth targets.
- 5+ years of experience in architectural lighting, lighting controls, electrical distribution, smart home technology, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Architectural lighting design
- Residential and luxury home construction
- LED technology
Lighting controls and smart home systems - Lighting specification processes
- Proven sales leadership or business development experience.
- Existing industry network within Texas or the U.S. construction/design market.
- Ability to train and lead a growing sales team.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Comfortable meeting with executives, builders, architects, and designers.
- Experience with luxury residential projects.
Experience with lighting manufacturers, distributors, or specification sales. - Knowledge of human‑centric lighting, tunable white systems, and connected lighting technologies. Vox Aura's ecosystem includes smart drivers, connected lighting, Matter‑compatible smart home integration, and tunable white solutions.
- Experience managing dealer, distributor, or showroom networks.
- Grow Vox Aura's presence across Texas and key U.S. markets.
- Establish strategic partnerships with leading builders, architects, designers, and distributors.
- Build and lead a high‑performing sales team.
- Position Vox Aura as a trusted premium lighting brand in the luxury residential and architectural lighting sector.
