BasicFunction
Drive to scheduled estimates in homes or commercial buildings, assess customer needs, and recommend the best fitting gutter services. We provide the customer list and you close the deal. Maintain communication with the gutter installers and office manager to ensure customer satisfaction through a work well done. Company car and fuel coverage are provided.
Must have 3-5 years commission-based sales experience. Knowledge about gutters and construction is a major plus.
Sales and Estimating Responsibilities- After customers schedule a time, attend all estimates on time.
- Price new opportunities within 48 hours of the onsite visit with prospect using The Brothers that just do Gutters production rates.
- Return incoming phone calls in a professional manner, within 8 business hours of call.
- Provide product differentiation to customer throughout the selling process (assist customer in understanding exactly what they are paying for and why it is a superior product).
- Effectively sell the company's services to the customer in a competitive atmosphere by understanding the customers' needs and selling to satisfy those needs.
- Help jobs stay “happy and under.” Visit every sold job at least once to maintain relationship with customers and crew.
- Maintain consistent follow-up procedures on all open bids. Get a “yes” or a “no” on all bids.
- Strive to target and market to the most profitable jobs.
- Prioritize work and actions in order to achieve established sales goals.
- Maintain closing rate of at least 50%.
- Develop a well thought out prospecting plan focusing on generating leads for the company.
- Participate in networking groups to establish business relationships and promote the company.
- Maintain an organized workflow and process using the company CRM.
- Set and achieve goals for sales volumes, closing rates and gross profits.
- Maintain regular communication with the owner, staff and field personnel, working cooperatively to develop methods and systems that are most effective for growing the business.
- Maintain the company's reputation of integrity and professionalism by communicating with customers in a professional manner, being punctual for appointments, returning phone calls promptly, etc.
- Assure that all necessary information pertaining to jobs is communicated to crew leaders as necessary (e.g., job colors, job scopes, scheduling, billing, etc.).
- Maintain open communication with crew leader and painters, in order to remain knowledgeable of jobs and teams.
- Communicate with all employees in a positive and respectful manner.
- Demonstrate positive leadership through all actions with all employees.
- Attend all meetings on time.
- Work the necessary hours per week to perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely manner.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new systems, helping to maintain and increase the company's profitability and organization as it changes and grows.
- Assist in problem solving and implementing solutions.
- Participate in planning company growth and development and support the company mission by following through on initiatives.

$500 per week base pay, with 5% commission or straight 9% commission. An additional 1% is added when sales goals are exceeded.
