Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support and promote business unit and sales team goals, initiatives and events.
• Establish and maintain relationship with customer base.
• Establish and maintain relationship with factory personnel.
• Keep current with upgrades and maintain knowledge of all products and services.
• Develop and conduct demonstrations/seminars and deliver technical information.
• Assess customer requirements and develop proposals.
• Participate in sales visits with Account Sales team members.
• Proficient in order management cycle.
• Interact with other business unit teams.
• Provide status reports to Sales and Service Management.
• Train incoming employees in work processes.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education/Knowledge:

• BS/BA degree preferred in a discipline that supports technical knowledge of the business.
• Knowledge of the sales process, products and services included in the business unit portfolio.
• Clear understanding of the architecture and technologies of instrumentation and control systems.

Experience/

Skills:

• 2+ years' experience in a process or manufacturing facility working in a technical capacity.
• Alternate would be 3-5 years in an engineering company with responsibility for automation project design and implementation.
• Direct experience in a sales and or customer service oriented work environment.

• Ability to manage customer expectations relative to deliverables and time frames. Strong Customer Service Skills, including the ability to develop rapport and trust with customers.
• Exhibits information management skills including MS Office and CRM interface.
