** Role Overview
** We are seeking an
** Environmental Monitoring Specialist I
** to support our Microbiology Environmental Monitoring team. The main role of the Quality Control Specialist, Environmental Monitoring I is to provide daily operational support and environmental monitoring (EM) services to the Immatics aseptic production areas and perform/provide safety testing for final drug product release.

* Basic Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field, preferably Microbiology
* 0-1 years' experience in a related role
*
* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Experience with aseptic processing and working in cleanroom environments.
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Strong professional writing skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate, and well-organized documentation.
** In this role you will:
*** Perform environmental monitoring of aseptic production areas, including viable air, surface, total particulate, and personnel monitoring.
* Perform microbiological testing activities, including sample incubation, result interpretation, microbial identification, media growth promotion, and coordination of samples with contract laboratories.
* Support aseptic process simulations through environmental monitoring, inspection, and evaluation activities.
* Execute equipment qualification activities and support ongoing equipment cleaning, maintenance, and readiness.
* Perform safety testing of in-process and final drug products in accordance with established procedures.
* Support general laboratory operations, including inventory management, sample receipt and disposition, and laboratory cleaning and disinfection.
