Position Overview

We are seeking a Plumbing Instructor who is passionate about mentoring, teaching, and making a lasting impact on the construction industry by preparing future plumbers for success.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging classroom instruction covering essential plumbing skills, techniques, and industry knowledge
- Lead hands‑on training exercises and simulations to reinforce practical, real‑world learning
- Coordinate on‑the‑job training opportunities with division teams to enhance trainee experience
- Track and maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and training activities
- Collaborate with division managers to identify current and future training needs
- Promote and enforce all company safety standards to maintain a secure learning environment

Minimum Years of Experience4‑6
Specific Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience
- Hands‑on experience in single‑family and multi‑family construction projects
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Passion for mentoring and developing future trades professionals
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Manual dexterity to operate plumbing tools, equipment, and training materials
- Ability to work in classroom, shop, and construction environments, including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
- Visual and auditory ability to safely demonstrate techniques, observe student performance, and provide instruction
